Teenage Girl by Heaven

broken promises,
and overwhelming cries,
dissapointing choices,
made to ruin my life,

lost memories,
and forgotten wishes,
no longer families,
no more hugs and kisses,

teenage girls problems,
love, sex, and boys,
no more time,
for games and toys,

try so hard,
only to fail,
give up so easy,
no longer cares,

tears shadow her wasted eyes,
one more kiss,one more hit,
still, somehow, shes not alright,
only wants to be held tonight,

goals are fading,
and school, who cares?
only knows,
that nothings fair,

shame covers her mothers face,
as she walks in,
what a disgrace,

anger holds her,
she will never forget,
pain so deep,
it makes her sick,

searches for love,
in all the wrong places,
sees her future,
in all the wrong faces,

longs to be held,
but she only is used,
pushed around,
shes so confused,

hands her heart,
to any open hand,
watches it be crushed,
then left devastated again,

trys to hold tight,
to anything she has,
waiting in sadness,
as it blows away like the sand,

everythings changing,
nothings ever the same,
you learn to forget,
you learn to loose faith,

friends come and go,
as quickly as laughter,
no longer even try,
to find "happily ever after"

everyone says i'll be okay,
can they not see me?
not see the tears on my face?

my broken heart,
and my lost mind,
afraid to see myself,
afraid of what i might find,

should i cry?
should i laugh?
no longer human,
lost in a trance,

im going crazy,
im in a whirl,
growing up is so hard,

Wish I could do something to make these years easier for you. I too felt like you at that age now I'm 52 and all I can tell you is it does get better and your life makes you a good writer, and you get to share your feelings with others that feel like you. I love your writing,you share your feelings and your heart.Keep sharing your present experiences.
