Cain You Hear My Heart Whisper?
6 August, 2005
Author: Terrie*
when i hear your words
i hear his echo silently
i feel as if though
they were the ones
i whispered in your ear
the ones that keep lingerin' in my heart
you always seem to know
what i want to say
you always seem to know
when i need some space
you always seem to know
cain you hear my heart
whisperin'
i need to get away?
will you let me go ?
will you watch over me
in the summer rain?
will you watch over me
from dusk til dawn?
will you stay
close by?
when tears i feel i may need to cry?
will you catch me when i fall?
will you hold me
through it all?
will you tell me
cry no more?
or will you tell me
share your tears..
until you cry no more?
and have the need
to start all over again
will you give me a glimpse of the man i love
hard at work in your kingdom above?
cain i just peek one more time
cain i look into his big green eyes
cain i search his soul
and dip my heart right in?
so i cain go back home
lay myself down
wait until he comes to take me home?
i hear your words
i hear his echo silently
behind your heart
sayin' my love is still very strong
don't give yours away
it still belongs to me
