Blue Song
7 August, 2005
Author: Pondering Red
you were blue song-
forever guitar strumming man-
full of greek legends-
you, Zeus and I, Athena,
running with the olympian gods-
light blond sun hair
unraveling onto shoulders,
onto the heavens,
touching the newly discovered tenth planet.
more lust for life than Van Gogh-
estatic bittersweetness in your eyes bluer
than any blue words-
a yearning to soulfully banter
with all of humankind.
you, lord of the lake and
i, keeper of the light.
you came to vist
one cold winters day
and never left.
in a sun shower of
confetti sprinkles,
i saw you last-
walking into rainbow dew,
blue guitar in hand...
