As you talked I listened with such intent,
I saw such love growing in you,
A love our family will always feed,
You’re eyes as heavy as your heart this day,
As we parted I love you and that won’t change,

To love another with such caring I feel everyday,
It’s sometimes hard when all they do is play,
No matter what you know,
Mistakes will always follow,

You’re heart takes over wanting to give all the best,
In my eyes my best was not you’re best,
My mind records our every event,
My heart scratches it upon my soul to keep,

This love for you can be but once,
Others could follow but will never compare,
For you my child were my first,

The mark shall stay for it feels so real,
Maybe one day soon you will understand and know,
In time I hope that I’m forgiven,
In time you’ll grow and I’ll one day again hold,

I see you cry over our separation,
I tell you soon together we’ll be again I promise,

All I’ll say is live day to day,
The love you have will be you’re strength within,
My thoughts for you are snug and warm,

I hope you shared this with your child. It'll make him or her feel so special . I like reading about love for the offsprings. So many kids don't feel love by thier parents. Good write yehhh

Hi Clive, Amy will always cherish your love , to the sky and back even in your absence, i know that is how i continue to feel for my Dad (and he has been gone for many years..memories of a dad are never forgotten, nor does the Love die! beautiful read my friend..
