Made Of What You Say
14 August, 2005
Author: Shan
I might break and cry alone in prayer
to save anothers life
Or fight the tears I hide
because it hurts to much to cry
Or I might tear myself for someone else
to reveal what's held inside
There's hope to feel, within my eyes
a dare to live and leave my fears behind
The way I wear my years of life
is sure a sign of finding mine
Through spinning times, beginings shine
and endings find their place in mind
The frozen moments, pending by
bend the road I know of life
The day is young, though
it's not long before we're old
And I know "I am made of what you say"
will be engraved upon my stone
because I take to heart and soul
a piece of everyone I've known
