Safe
15 August, 2005
Author: Laura Van Sickle
surrounding me
a shield of safety
intertwined
hand to hip,
hip to side,
side to hand
a gentle beat,
soothing,
rythmatic.
sweet whispers of beauty,
love, and perfection.
warmth and sweetness.
a meaningfull kiss.
gently brushing my a face,
tightly holding my hand.
my fingers locked in yours,
holding me close.
a puzzle piece fit,
of my head on your chest.
nothing but a feeling of contentness.
lying here, safe in the arms of my love.
my everything
that makes me anything.
