Wasted
19 February, 2004
Author: Crimson Angel
Simply lowered to that of naught
Emptiness within the bowers of loneliness
Forgetting those whom have endured
The same passion and pain as I
Shifting from the shadows
Simply falling into the forever
Of what my sorrowed eyes tend to see
Finding all that drown me in the lies
I feel so wasted, so alone
I want to be perfect
I want to be flawless
But you see I am wasted

Martin Vann (171.75.220.203) -- Friday, February 20 2004, 11:08 pm Crimson Angel, You may feel wasted, but your words within this poem, are precious. Difficult I know, to hear such gratitude, from one who reads the detail of your pain. Yet, why, I do not know, but the deeper we feel despair, we find the answers for our selves, within, our own despair. Read your work several times, your are I think the word, is perceptive. Thank You MartinV |
Crimson Angel (67.162.95.179) -- Monday, February 23 2004, 02:16 am Despite my many tries and pleas, things in life always seems to turn in the direction I don't want it to go in. Life seems to have a way of twisting its prys against my own intentions, thus how I lose many things I love and receive many things I could indeed live without. Whilst writing this poem, I was thinking I might've begun to lose someone sincerely dear to me which is why the poem turned out the way it did. But maybe I should begin seeing the better.. Thank you both for the compliments. |
