Meridian (172.157.3.115) -- Wednesday, August 24 2005, 09:54 pm I suppose God is smiling when we pray. So when you say, "to give to you what's not in sight", you must mean faith. I see it posted in the "Faith" category, plus, I remember the scripture, "we walk by faith and night by sight", and "faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Very good Marilyn! P.S. Are you related to the poet Henry Longfellow? |

Terrye* (67.187.237.233) -- Monday, June 9 2008, 12:42 am Marilyn, this is incredible!! as a lil girl, i was taught to pray to GOD like i was having a conversation with him while he was sittin' in his favorite easy chair..as of today i still do... FAITH sees the INVISIBLE... BELIEVES the UNBELIEVABLE... And... RECEIVES the IMPOSSIBLE... |
