Finding Me by Devilyangelic

Growing more and more by the day,
finally feels like I'll find my way.
From all the pain I no longer run,
for a new chapter in me has begun.

Outshadowing the tears that fell from these eyes,
as from my past fears I learn to rise.
High above opening my mind,
to see that there's always more to find.

Excelling in my own potential,
realising for the first time I too am essential.
Familiar waters flow to the sea,
as a fresh river of strength flows through me.

Flowering is the bud, planted many moons ago,
as from my own survival I continue to grow.
A happy place I now reside,
no longer a necessity my pain to hide.

Blossoming into who I always strived to be,
as from my own heartache I set myself free.
Chains of hurt now coming undone,
no longer do I fear to step into the sun.

Flourishing in a heartbeat from weak to strong,
I realise the courage was in me all along.
I savour this feeling of flying free,
as for the first time I'm FINDING ME!?!
