Memories At Sea
31 August, 2005
Author: Terrie*
loungin' in a silky gown
upon a rocky bluff
gazin' beyond the sea
waitin' for you to return to me
a memory of two lover's
dancin' under a lovers moonlight
on a paradise island
then came the the wrath of the sea
the shimmerin' waves wash over us
takin' you from me
i await the moment of your return
to dance with me
a life that rests
somewhere beyond the sea
will you return?
or have you been lost forever?
i see a silouette of you and me
danicin' happily at sea
leavin' me with precious memories
of love ,to hold on to
of you me and the open Sea
------- Author's Notes -------
once again , i love the sea, the beach, the ocean, when it's just the calm or rapid waters at bay that wash over the sands , the bluffs and me ! |
