I've Been Looking
1 September, 2005

I've been looking for a life that I really want to live
And I want to find a girl that I don't have to give
A present every second that is straight with just me
You say it's gonna happen but I just don't agree
The last girl I was with, man she tore up my heart
She was the one in the world that I thought would start
Me in the right direction but it'll never just be
She said we'd never break up and she'd always love me
But now she's with my ex-friend and laughing all the time
He's toking and he's smoking while he lives a life of crime
I go to a funeral, she goes to a show
She's living at my house, when I'm there she has to go
She told me not to buy her things but takes some sh*t from Brian
All that sh*t she told me man I guess she was just lying
With all of this and more, I know I'll never win
She gave up on our life and what we could have been

Martin Vann (4.226.222.99) -- Thursday, September 1 2005, 06:28 pm Seiz, We are all pleased to see your heart's words back again. This is a poem with out doubt from your heart. Its not your love for her that has lost her soul, it is to me, her soul is dead yet, still beats and takes all it can, down with her. |
