Lost Smile
5 September, 2005
Author: Devilyangelic
Bitterness now sweet,
as I'm back on my feet.
Throwing away the crutch that aided me to stand,
as no more do I need a hand.
Rage now dies,
as I become wise.
That people in this life may try to break me,
but unless I am willing they will not take me.
To the depths of despair,
for I've been there.
So many times I know the route,
the second that love gives me the boot.
Pain I held,
now becomes ungelled.
I see my heart shine once more,
filling me with an innerglow.
So I move to a better place,
where I'm not afraid to face.
My demons that once broke me,
but no more shall this be.
For I am strong,
I had it in me all along.
It's taken a while,
but tonight I found my LOST SMILE!!!
