Tomorrow's Heart
6 September, 2005
Author: ShyHeart
I gave my best today, held a hand, wiped a tear from a heart
Now, today, chases me into tomorrow, wonder what will I see
What service can I be, tomorrow, like yesterday, I hold a hand
Shaking from a broken heart, I feel like a surgeon, reparing broken hearts
So, much pain, it all fills my heart to be there, for a friend
She cried, his promise died one night, another' heart was reborn
I hold many hands, I love to see them reach for me, and share
All the love I have, I'd be so empty, without all my friends
You may wonder who I am, who has such a friend, I come from
No where, yet, I'm always there when your life disappears
No hand but mine, do you see, who am I? I am your friend
I'm your neighbor, I live down the street, that is where I come from
You touch me more in a time of trial, then I touch you
You ask, how can this be, My reply is what is a heart
If, it has no love, the same you would share with me and all
Your sorrow so, you see, my heart is never ending, I'm just
Tomorrow's Heart
