Fate's Illusion
10 August, 2003
Author: Crimson Angel
Crying a stream of bloody tears
Dwelling within endless sorrow
Wishing there could be an end
That there would be no tomorrow
Beggers can't be choosers
Is a common moral they say
It holds a truth that maybe we could
Get through just one day
Life wouldn't be easy
It chose to fight us back
It was tough to keep our minds sane
It was reality we chose to lack
Brief in its vicious eloquence
Removing the dross
Love will arise
From the ashes of our loss
Even though the worst
Will seem to never end
Our scars from our battles
Will always some day, mend
As night turns into day
And day turns into night
Ageless times will steal human's fate
And leave darkness, to conquer light
