Happy Birthday!
8 September, 2005
Author: Franca Adah
I can hear a sound beatiful and thrilling
Joy written over mama's face Oh! my baby
He has come, a cute and nice baby boy he is.
The future lie ahead with him kneeling
presented to his maker for a day like this
It has come and we all rejoice with you.
Can you still remember the first sunrays?
the first moonlight, the drop of rain?
Can you still remember how you played around?
I can't help but to wonder, I want to know
I can't help but to appreciate you more than ever
And I want to ask, Can you spare a little of your day?
Gifts are indeed pleasant but your words are healing
I long for just a second, a minute an hour and days
Oh! Happy Birthday and more gracious days ahead.
