A Quiet Night, Just Got Off Work

I left everything behind me, felt the need of the shore, satin sand so warm
Silk making love to my heart, all my troubles gone, on this quiet, moon lit night
Only sound I heard were the waves from a million miles away, to rescue me
As I laid upon the lips of the sea of life, stars bright & warm, as love in my arms
Saw the world rush up and touch me, with gentle waves from far away
Felt the warmth of a million years, where love began, flow all over me
I just smiled, buried my toes in the silky sands of love, stars had their way
Each blink from above, took me closer to a place, where love needs to be
We all work so hard, sometimes we deserve something soft, like moon-light
Soaked into the silk of the sea sand, can't you feel a world of love, each wave
That comes to your heart, as gentle as the morning's sun rays, love is made
Of these waves from times gone by and star-light, opens up your eyes
