When The Wind Blows
18 September, 2005
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Nature released anger
The innocent sought upon
No blame for it's violence
For there can be no compassion in the wind
Compassion is found in people
Those who help, those who unite
Those who flock together to aid
Touched by the hand of something much stronger
As one man sits in tears of all that is lost
Another works with the fevered ambition to save what he can
Nature was angry.. unbridled
Now we must pick up the pieces and struggle on
Innocence lost by many
With new enlightenments of realization
Nature's lessons harsh
But the humanity, as always, will prevail
