you didn't say you were coming
but i waited

the minutes ticked by
tick tock
but i waited

i saw her, the one you pointed out
it was hard to look at her knowing what she meant to you
but i waited

she broke your heart somewhere along the road
you said you weren't ready for another relationship
but i waited

you finally realized that i was the one you wanted
but i couldn't stay
someone was waiting for me
