Transmigration

Wise men know this truth
The ignorant fear this revelation
If you ask them what it’s all about
They say it’s the Final Destination
Why am I here
Where do I go?
Adages ask us to follow the heart
Books that talk about the souls those never depart.
I am not this body, I am not this mind
I am not this very existence
then, whom do I leave behind.
All the worlds a mirage
All the worlds an illusion
Life is a karmic lesson, Oh mighty souls
so, please understand this situation.
Death might come in whispers
Death might leave you blind
Death spares not a single soul
leaving empty bodies behind.
The embellished body it goes
It goes back to the dusty earth
Leaving the bones and flesh in tandem
is this the reason for our birth?
As I walk to the glorious future
Treading every path with sheer will
don’t forget me says my brother
in death, thy shall lie very still…

Death is an unknown stranger lurking in the dark waiting to strike us anytime. These are my thoughts on Death... |
