A Woman Can Survive by Tammy

I can't shake the coldness
it trembles my very bones.
My heart now growing weak
from the pain that you have caused.
My soul is an open window
you slithered your way in.
But now I built this wall from
loving anyone.
My eyes don't carry tears
the way they use to do,
and my heart no longer beats
because the pain you put me through.
Now i'm solid as a rock, tough
as a box of nails.
Don't care about anything...I've
already been to hell.
I will make it don't you worry,
because a woman can survive.
All she needs is faith,
she will grow...she will thrive!
So now you see it's all been done
you've broke my heart into.
But that's ok with me
Now that I've started my life anew.

Please guys don't take this poem wrong, it is not directed to all guys, Just sometimes us women get a few bad apples, before we find a ripe one. There are truly some real good
men in this world, I just wanted all ladies to know we are strong, and we are tough, even though when were going through heartache it doesn't feel we are.

Survival is a "Unisex " thing
great write Tammy, i admire you for speakin' out...yet,as embarassin' as it is to say, for us women. we must remember that in this liberated world ,which isn't really new, there are "Also" many "Females" that cain be a bad apple for men as well. not that it balances the score, because the few good men and women "sometimes" are NOT given the chance,i think your words speak for the men population as well..Good Job Sweetie!
