A tower block with stories to tell.
First theres white Brenda who is a BNP member.
she is always putting black people down,
but she still persists to put fake tan over her body
to make herself look brown.

Then theres Anton who is only 15
and runs his own business,
cocaine is what he sells.

He carries a gun to keep him safe from harm,
he says he will stop at 20,
but will he still be alive by then to disarm?

Then we have steven who is Gay,
he cant tell his parents as he is scared about what they might say,
so he has to keep his painful secret to himself
everyday.

At number 45 Lisa and her boyfriend are expecting
their first child in early May,
but lisa doesnt know that her boyfriend has been cheating
behind her back with her best friend Faye.

Becky at number 62 walks out of her
flat to go to school,
but she has not been there in a week,
she doesnt go as the bullies call her every name under the sun from
"fatty"
to
"tramp"
to
"freak".

Then there is me,
Ben Franklin, who doesnt live in a tower block,
but I seem to f*ck things up without fail,
I guess deep down we are all part of a
Tower Tale?

Everyday Living

You've got it! You've captured it! You seem angry in this poem B! I'm angry for the people in this poem, whether they're fiction or not. In a place called Earth, anything goes. Too bad we've got to deal with certain people who love to give others a hard time. Brilliant B! Brilliant! Write more!

Your right...

Meri. This poem was born on my way to work. I have been going past this same tower block from 7 upwards on the train, and in them fifteen years the place still looks the same, the windows are the same, there has been no new paint work put on it.....but the people inside are all so different! And I think the fact that the local council have not fixed the place up gave me that angry side.
thanks for reading meri.

you would do something excellent in this subject

you should write a poem about the bird flue, the fear, and natural disasters that could determine that the world is coming to a long chaotic end.
