Hate
10 June, 2003
Author: Crimson Angel
I feel it burn within me.
Bitter-sweet ashes from long ago,
come alive, into a fire,
too great to put out.
It boils hot, and cruel, within me,
as I try desperatly, to put what made it behind me.
It strangles me, holding me in contempt,
beckoning me to let it out.
But I can't.
It keeps me sealed up, bottled inside,
waiting for me to agree,
so it can let me out, in rage.
It hides silently, stalking me,
continuing to haunt me,
as I slowly begin to cower in fear.
It takes me over,
until I begin to lose all sanity,
and end up running to my feast,
like a barbaric man-eating monster.
It makes me want to charge after the first person I see,
and rip them apart, alive.
It makes me feel mad, and angry.
To want everyone to leave me alone.
And yet they don't.
This is why that fire burns.
This is why that fire grows.
This is where that fire came from.

Crimson Angel (12.249.164.87) -- Wednesday, July 16 2003, 01:53 am Why thank you, brownie, lol. Nice to be reminded of someone else. And though I really don't show much hate towards anyone, it doesn't mean I don't have hate, so I felt like writing down what I felt at the time. Thanks for your comment! :) |
