Breath To Catch
22 September, 2005

Breaths I steal,
as that's how you make me feel.
Can't catch my own,
so yours may I loan?
Maybe it'll fade,
but I don't want to evade.
Your sweetness anymore,
as I've come to adore.
The wonder that's you,
if only you knew.
The impact you have one me,
how so much you've helped me see.
But I will admire you from afar,
not ready to risk my heart to mar.
But it shall be yours when the time is right,
no sign of you but your words take my breath tonight.
As from the centre of my heart,
I send you the kind of dreams where we never part.
Dreams I know but I hold them dear,
with every part of me I wish you near.
Into slumber softly I tiptoe,
willing you in my dreams with all that I know.
In you I find I've met my match,
as I still fail my BREATH TO CATCH!!
