One Sun, Moon Lit Night

One night the Moon said to the psssing Sun, how about, you and I dance
Tonight, it would be the first time, what do you think? I'm tired of being alone in
The sky, why don't we shed our light on each other? The Sun smiled, sounds
Good to me, They invited all their friends, stars, rainbows, even thunder clouds
The stars all took their positions, the Sun smiled at the Moon and said, let's
Dance in Texas, where you show your brightest smile, Lady Moon agreed
The violins and steel guitar began to play, even Hank, joined in then a surprise,
The man in black took the stage, he had hurt himself, but he sang just fine
Tickets for the concert were free, if you had a loving heart and believed
The Sun could warm your heart, if the Moon light, was made of sugar crystals
And when she blinked, sweet love would fall, cover your heart like Texas stars
Tickets were free in Texas, could the Sun and Moon sing their hearts out
For you and me, on
One Sun, Moon Lit Night

As I say, I was born in Texas, kidnapped and taken to Oklahoma, miss being home, but I found some friends in Oklahoma, Vince Gill and Toby Keith to name a couple. One day, I plan to come home.Thank You, Princess Moon, Our comments are limited, but we may have time, for one dance, just you and me, just one dance before time plays her song, just one dance? |
