Our Love
23 September, 2005
Author: KitKatrina
A love so strong it’s unbreakable,
A life too hard it’s understandable,
A word not spoken goes unsaid,
A heart stops & then he’s dead,
You wonder when it all seized,
The time you lost goes unseen,
You can’t go back into the past,
The time you had didn’t last,
His soul will be taken far away,
Though his body, that will stay,
His face, his smile, all missed,
The last time you both kissed,
Every detail of his beautiful face,
That’s a detail that won’t erase,
The heart of gold he had,
He was a very loving dad,
His eyes so wide and bright,
Like that first star of the night,
His brown nose so big and long,
All these things are now gone,
The memories stay in my heart,
The details are all falling apart,
The memory is losing its touch,
Three years is just too much,
Pictures will always strike a smile,
Though it’ll only last for a while,
Videos might make me shed a tear,
Seeing him, being able to hear,
To hear his voice and see his face,
I wish to go back to that place,
I really miss him, but I can’t go back,
This was his fate and that’s a fact,
Our love was strong it was unbreakable,
His life was hard and understandable,
The words not spoken went unsaid,
His heart stopped & now he’s dead…
