In the sky the angels sleep
and watch me as I sit and weep
they touch my head and help me mourn
but not before I hear them warn
I must remain so pure and strong
I may get hurt but life goes on
I must forgive my friends and foe
for this will surely help me grow
and all the things that I've gone through
I must believe that all is true
the more I doubt, the more I fear
the more I'll loose who I hold dear
and when it comes to judgement day
I want to go where angels stay
to do this I must learn to love
all God's creatures, crow or dove
when I do this I believe
it will help me when I leave
if I live my life like this
I will get my greatest wish
to live in Heaven, in the sky
with all my loved ones, up so high
when I get there I will wait
upon the famous pearly gate
when my time comes, and I'm let in
I will be forgiven of all my sin
