From Up Above
24 September, 2005
Author: Taylor James
there i was close to death,
then i thought i was taking my last brerath.
and then came down from up above
an angel who said "thats enough".
"no more cutting upon your orecious skin
look at yourself your looking grim.
put no more pills down your throat
look at me and promise you wont"
"im your angel from way up high
now tell me you wont even try"
"ive been guiding you through
for most of your life.
ive seen your troubles
ive felt your strife"
"i feel your pain within my heart
and i know we'll never part"
"you'll only see me one more time
and that will be when you are mine"
"now ill say goodbye
we'll meet again so please dont cry"
then i woke with a tear upon my cheek
knowing that we will never meet.
