Darkness Beckons
27 September, 2005
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Gathering emotions seek to escape
Hidden in the deepest reaches they reside
Taunting the darkness beckons to them
"Cry and let it go"
No real reason for the tears to flow
The soul is at peace with life's completeness
Yet still the darkness beckons
"Release and let it go"
Overwhelming the heart aches
Resigning it's strength; letting weakness rule
Yes, the darkness beckons
"The writing... just let it go"
