Just Hold My Hand
28 September, 2005
Author: Marilyn A F Longfellow
In your time of such dispair.
You should know I really care.
When you think you can't go on.
Just hold my hand, from dusk to dawn.
I have your loved one safe and sound.
The Angels gathered all around.
They patched him up and gave him wings.
And now can rest, and fly, and sing!
Until it's time for you to see.
Walk by faith and just believe.
You're being guarded day by day.
He sends the Angels to lead the way.
Just hold my hand, from dusk to dawn.
I have your loved one safe and sound....Jesus
------- Author's Notes -------
I was asked to write a poem to a sister poet whos brother was killed in New Orleans by looters in his store. Tony left behind his sister and a daughter. She was very greatful for it and said it eased her pain thinking of him in heaven and not in pain. |

Nothing in this world can give us the inner peace of knowing that God is always with us, through everything we experience. This poem is a true blessing to those who are in pain. Thanks for sharing these lovely words, and the serenity it inspires. |
