A Kiss
17 May, 2003
Author: Crimson Angel
Poison seeps from thy lips
Yet with the attracted taste of wine
Oh! How I wish to capture a taste of that wine
A sweet breath of poison to make me yearn for more tasteful wine
Oh, how I wish to kiss thy lips
To taste that poison, seeping onto my every being
Yet with the beautiful taste, tingling on my lips, from thee
The poison, shall destroy my being
But the taste shall purify my soul
As I shall willingly cling to thee
Seeking for more, of that taste, addicted
Oh how I dream to taste that sweet nector upon thy lips
To feel the brush of that sweet wine upon my lips,
sealing it breathless
Oh how I live to breath that sweetness in thy touch
To feel thy sweet blessid lips brush upon mine
Releasing sweet tenderness, and taste,
showing affection, and obedience
My heart shall yearn for more of that wine from thee
As too, my mind shall never forget that softness of the kiss
Tasting that delicious breath of wine, upon my lips
Only grants my spirit upon thee
Hoping to cure my every being
With one simple taste of breathless poison
As thou are the wine, my lips will ever seek
Thy poison is tortured to perfection
As so thy wine was made for the heavens
I shall let the poison kill me
But I shall let thy wine of purity sooth my soul
As shall my only wish, will be to taste that sweet nector,
that seeps from thy tender lips,
And to have that poison bring me to my knees
Begging for more....

martin Vann (171.75.220.150) -- Sunday, June 29 2003, 10:47 pm Beautifully written, I can taste every word, every sigh expelled, from the wine's revelation. Yet, as you say, the wine is sweet, but there comes, that taste of reality, once we have had our fill. What you thought was honey, was just the flavor of desire. And for you showed your desire, to be complete, a need to share your heart, yet, after all your efforts, your just left, with the after taste, the after taste of trial. Excellent poem, came from the heart, the poet's library of honesty, I appreciate the words, that you wrote. MartinV |
