Yesterday's Dreams
5 October, 2005
Author: Terrie*
Hope chest of yesterday
Sweet memories we made
The you in my heart
The memories hangin’ on my wall
The muscles in my heart
Memories of you that continue
To make love to my soul
Tranquil moments
My last crashin’ wave
Of tears rushin'
Past my heart
Because of your love, I have survived
The lamp worth lightin’
Sits in the stairway
Leadin’ straight up to my heart
The music in the wind
A melody of your bedroom voice
Memories of Rosebuds and thorns
Worth every pain, exposed
All because, I love you !
The king, that remains in my heart
------- Author's Notes -------
