Blessing
5 October, 2005
Author: Mark Spencer
Many obstacles have impeded thee.
Yet thy love has overcome every one.
Thy quest has led thee to this destiny,
To a storybook cottage in the sun.
Here is where fact and fiction unite,
Emblazoned upon the seal of love.
And upon her wings, thy passion takes flight,
Carried along to God’s kingdom above.
May thy love light never cease its shining,
And may thy garden never want for rain.
May every cloud have a silver lining,
And may thy efforts never be in vain.
I pray this blessing will forever be
A heavenly light watching over thee.
