Some Beauties In The World

Some people take for granted
Some beauties of the world
The gracious lakes and forests
A potato bug oh so curled
The Rocky Mountains high
The valleys just below
The hills are grassy and green
With flowers all among them
Growing very slow
The Sunset distant from us
That lightens up the sky
The moon that glows upon us
That makes me begin to cry
The animals in their hideouts
Take us as a fear
Why do we have to kill them I ask
As I lose a lonely tear
Wet and Sandy beaches
surround the water shore
The oceans just beyond them
Where precious pearls in oysters
Surface the ocean floor
A potato bug in a ball
lying there oh so curled
Some people take for granted
Some beauties of the world

Beauty

This Poem is also one of the beauties of the world.. It states the truth about even the smallest things we take for granted every day.

I hope that everyone that reads this one takes just a moment of time to observe the beauty that surrounds them. The realization of the outstanding and wondrous world in which we live.

Very nicely done.. Great read
