I loved you lots but lost you once
and yet my feelings remain
and I know your feelings aren't the same
that's the source of all my pain

the memories are hard to loose
even though your feelings are gone
I remember when you look in my eyes
and peacefully sing that song

As I lay in bed at night
I can feel your warmth around me
I know it's only in my mind
if only it was reality

At night I look up, and see a shooting star
and hear your voice around me
I know you lost your love for me
but I know it can't be far

We shared alot, that's what I miss
even though you don't feel the same
I miss your voice, I miss your face
and the greatest, your gentle kiss

You say you don't remember me
and forget that I'm alive
but I know you see me everyday
and that's how it's going to be

the fact that I can't hold you
and feel your warming touch
it's the greatest pain I've ever felt
to know that we are through
