When We Cuddle
10 October, 2005
Author: Devilyangelic
Each tiny hand,
I reached out as you aided me to stand.
Making my way though I had no clue,
other than baby footfalls would lead me to you.
Standing there proud,
causing me to tumble as I was deafened by the crowd.
Applauding what they never knew I could do,
as I was yet to try on a shoe.
Hand in mine,
as we stepped into the sunshine.
Feeling so small as I looked up to you,
lost if we parted so I'd stick to you like glue.
Walking on my own,
showing you just how much I had grown.
Not a baby anymore,
but still your little girl whom you adore.
The time now,
to show my little sister how.
To take her first steps where I would be,
waiting with hugs when she finally reached me.
Hand in hand,
as we'd play in the sand.
In the rain jumping from puddle to puddle,
still as close as we were then WHEN WE CUDDLE!!!
