Resurfacing

It’s resurfacing again
I thought it was buried long ago
But its coming up again
It chokes me
I fall to the floor
Again
Up in the clouds
Suffocate
I watched it all
I saw it coming
Paralyzed
What did I expect?
A beautiful portrait of the sun
Burning my throat
Carry me away
Into the ocean
I'll never return
I sink below
I'll reach for you when I hit rock bottom
How about a phone call now?
Drowning
I'll scream for you
I already died for you
And now
I Am
Resurfacing
------- Author's Notes -------
This is pretty amateur. There's no structure. Just a lot of feeling for the day. |
