I have been so scared to express it, afraid to curse what I've been so blessed to find.
A man who is handsome and good, with a soul equally as kind.
It might sound cliche to say it, but your my angel from above.
God modeled and sculpted you perfectly, and best of all it's me that you love.
I can't tell you how many times I've prayed, asking for someone like you.
I just never thought I was deserving, never thought my wish could come true.
Everything that I'am lacking is made up for by you,
we are like two halves of a whole in all that we do.
Your gentle nature and calming touch, your patience that humbles and means so much.
Your honor and virtue, qualities so hard to find, makes me fill with pride to know that you are mine.
You wear your heart out on your sleeve, for all to see.
You tell everyone who will listen, how very much you love me!
Everyday you hold me, as daylight fades to night,
and with the deepest sigh of contentment, I know that this is right.
I see things in a different light, everything is more positive and clear.
You've made me think of the word beautiful when I look into a mirror.
I'am so simply rejoicing in the outstanding love I see in your eyes.
I want to savor every sunset, every smile, all the stars up in the skies!
I want to shout out to the heavens and thank God for sharing you with someone like me.
I will love His treasure forever, tucked safe in my heart is where you will always be.
One year of bliss, one year of pureness and honesty.
So many more to come with you right beside me.
I've never known a love like yours,
I never knew love could be this great.
All those years of heartache and lonliness was undoubtedly worth the wait.
