The Inside Of My Heart
15 October, 2005
Author: Terrie*
My renaissance man
he never reneged, what he promised to do
No matter how mi-nute it may seem
my miracle, a fulfillment in my life
he was always, there for me
before and after i became his wife
he repelled, those he feared,
may be a threat or bring me harm
I still see his reflection in every tear
that forms a puddle in my heart
a mirage that surfaces tenderly inside my heart
No other man has seen me, through the eyes of his naked heart
No one has held me, the way that he did
So sad was I when, life pulled us apart
My renaissance man, my miracle man
I had to render, the love of my life,
the man whom always was easy to understand
To another place in time
his death an illusion was His rebirth that remains with me
he will always live inside my heart
and be the light within my soul
he is that one bright star in heavens sky,
that illuminates and waits for me
