Consume My Thoughts
18 October, 2005
Author: Terrie*
I sit and wonder, from across the ocean
I visualize and feel all you must face
the stress of it becomes a little prison
I feel the pain penetrate deep inside invadin’ your space
Life confronts us with a substantial amount of pain
Makin’ it the number one focus in our life
Come take my hand, let life wash over us with heavenly blissful rain
all forms of pain consumes our thoughts,
We try so hard to rearrange
We attempt to untie all the kinks and knots
They say healing begins
With our thoughts and attitudes we hold deep inside
if so, I hope you cain feel my thoughts, that I do not hide
Perhaps you cain consume then too,
And me, as I wish for a life
that is more pleasant and enjoyable for you
come take my hand
place your head upon my breast
consume my thoughts and rest
peacefully in my heart
