Sometimes, when I lay there wide awake at night
I look up into the ceilin’, as if to look up into the sky
I turn my thoughts to you, in total delight
what an inspiration you've become. in this life of mine

I think of all the times, I let go by
As I sat there just thinkin’
you have no idea, how many tears you did dry
With your hearts standstill eyes, never blinkin’

I think of you, each and every day
Like I always have, non stop
My heart, has always been open, to what yours has to say
On my heart’s list, you are at the very top

The moments that pass me, without notice
they become more meaningful, when my thoughts are about you
when you touch me from so far away, i become speechless
The strength you posses in your heart, I feel even if it is virtue

The moment you became my friend
You became a lot more, than just my strength
You became a strong shoulder to lean on, my voice at the end
I feel you close by, through out every wavelength

you became, my mountain to climb
when no other form of life, was around
i searched, you gave me your time
i struggled, you gave me the joy i found

All I know, ever since you
Something, I caint explain
when friendship from far away grew
My life, has never been the same
