Last Night, I Closed My Eyes

Last night, I closed my eyes, left my heart behind my dreams
Felt my soul become part of me, saw it set my heart free
The moon-light slipped into my bed-room, made love to me
Stars were watching, as the moon-light & I made loving dreams

Stars were shining as they always do, for lovers that are true
Then, the birth of love comes shining through, a baby star is born
See our child of love shining, on your darkest night, see the Sun run
Love has won once again, our love plays games with the Sunny Sky

Last Night, I Closed My Eyes

How Lovely

This poem was splendidly put together, and I just love the line "Stars were watching, as the moonlight and I made loving dreams"-Beautiful. I loved every sentence. Absolutely lovely!Never lose the whimsical side of you Martin, for if it were to ever be so...you would feel regret of denying your true calling in the long run. lol God Bless!
