Embarrassment.

Author: Emma-Louise
You could do better than an insecure little child,
Someone more enthusiastic, someone more your style.
I can’t help how things are, I’ve tried so hard..
But you never knew the things I hid behind my guard.
It hurts so much for one simple reason,
I’ll never be like her, she has too much adrenalin.
Her confidence isn’t shattered, she doesn’t feel my fear..
And the solution to my problem still remains unclear.
I feel it everywhere I go, you know it’s true..
But it’s mostly whenever I’m around you.
It’s been months but I can still feel humiliated,
You don’t want a girl who’s head is clouded.
Down to earth, bubbly and up for anything,
That’s the type of girl you should be loving.
I create things in my mind, things you’d enjoy..
But when I see you, my plans I destroy.
I can’t help this paranoid feeling I get,
This low self-esteem makes me upset.
So far you never really knew..
But my worst fear is that I’m not good enough for you.

Mike (82.35.78.186) -- Sunday, November 6 2005, 02:21 am Emma, you're good enough for him. Hell, you're good enough for the queen [if she was that way inclined], or even the Pope himself! He's so lucky to have you, if only he'd realise that fully. Never put yourself down like this, I hate to hear it. |
