I try not to cry, I must force the tears away
I cannot believe im alone on this day
No one to turn to, talk to or phone
It's almost midnight and im still all alone.
I celebrate my birthday with five cans of beer
Two packs of smokes and a handful of tears
Each minute that passes, the less I can take
Still praying and wishing that it's all a mistake.
Not one kiss, one hug or one smile
Just a simple letter, " be back in a while"
It isn't what you do but mostly what you say:
"Your pissing me off, just go away."
Hardly feeling loved or needed at all
I feel like im spinning and ready to fall
I run and I run and I run till I faint
You finally remebered, two minutes to late.
My body falls down but I float up
It's all so realxing, but I can't give up
With one single prayer, I take a deep breath
Im back in my body and far from death.
I open my eye's wondering "am I seventeen??"
Was any of it real?? Was it all a dream??
