When the world sleeps
come sit by me
near me..my Heart
lets talk and share,
endlessly
the joys you bring
to my life
and the pains I cause you.
Dear heart...lets start...
breaking the silence
that keeps us closed-in
into ourselves..
we both hear out
one another..
what I try to hide
and what you whisper
through your beats.
I would hold you tender,
and I shall surrender
what I keep to myself..
Please stay dear Heart,
with me tonight..
till the morning light
filters through
and we once more
are on our way
silent as strangers
throughout the day.

There are moments when we walk in silence throughout the day busy with our work which keeps our minds occupied..but when the day is done and we have our quiet moments we talk with our heart that becomes our only friend, and confidante. |
