My Broken Record.
17 November, 2005
Author: Emma-Louise
A broken record skipping in my head,
And things I knew I shouldn’t have said.
I’ve learned the hard way this time,
I’m sick of pretending everything’s fine.
Every day I witness the same old scene,
I’ve forgot now how long it’s been.
I’ll never forget it though, what it did to me.
The very few that know also agree.
Now there’s nothing else for me to do,
It could have been different but I knew better than to argue.
I've never felt so betrayed,
Now because of you, I am afraid.
