Fear Of The Heart
18 November, 2005
Author: Mike
You cannot fathom how I feel..
The words so painful I choke.
Stutter your name over and over,
Trying to piece together the clues to your past.
But I can't.
You've told me before,
You can't trust me.
You can't trust men.
It hurts,
The way you look at me.
The way you turn away when I kiss you.
When I touch you.
You joke with me,
Telling me you hate me.
Do you mean it?
Not even a bit?
You hate me..
I know you do.
I see it in your eyes,
The cold black coal,
gazing at me with utter comtempt,
and yes..
Fear.
