Ignorance
18 November, 2005
Author: Taylor James
my work of "art" you deny to see
the pain thats always been inside of me
cant you see the terror in my eyes
all these years you kept telling yourself i was fine.
i cant remember a day
where you wasnt the same
always pretending i was alright
just so you wouldnt get a fright.
why dont you look deep inside
and stop telling yourself to hide
you need to face the truth.
look into my eyes
tell me what you see
do you see the pain
that ive hidden within me?
one day you will find
a dead body on your door
it will be me
because of what you refused to see.
