On my horse I sway,
with my sight blinded by the moonlight rays
That burn like the wick of a candle that's dying into its final seconds
reaching death in the darkness
The lightning striking the clouds as if a whip against a prisoners skin.
I'm a child scared of punishment
Hide behind me my darling for
they're coming for us again
My cowboy hat rested upon my knee's and my reins held loosely
The wind whistling threw the cactus's brittle thorns
Dare I take another breath and make the flames of hell on earth burn brighter
brighter on the propane of my misery
in which the devil paints thee
breathe deeply in his breaths
with a god that looks upon me with a perception that plays best
play my emotions like the wind that slithers its against my cold skin
Decaying like a cancer from the inside out
crawling between the stitches that hold together a broken soul
The air plays like a flute that whispers to me with your voice
"don't dare speak,love for I know that you've grown too weak"
For I'm like an infant chasing after some one to hold thee
Naively I run to the only love that ever withheld me
The Sand painting my dark brown hair as black roses upon a grave
tracing the ink of a Polaroid picture,the thoughts of my existence will fade.
Remaining stale and unimportant with the captured photograph of my erased face
Between the pages god has written with his blood drawn pen.
For I'm running to you my princess
with these dashes on my wrist
I revision the raindrops that painted your face
While you gave your life to the waters below the cliff
Between the grip of the nights
Falling threw the grand clock's lights
At the strike of midnight the bells of death will ring
and she'll sit at the end of the world
upon the front steps waiting for me
her legs swinging back and forth over the ledge
Her hair blowing in the airs of life and death
Dare we take the chance,
use our wings and jump together?
My love at the end of the world,
I'll meet you there.
