From the darkness,
with my heart I address.
Yours with the plea that maybe we could be one?
for it was in my darkness that your heart shone.

How did you find,
this sweet one who'd lost her mind?
When I was shielded by my shadow,
in the hope that all of my hurt would go.

Unsure I could stand,
until the day you took my hand.
Unveiling to me your sweet soul,
as into my heart I let myself fall.

No attempts to stop did I make,
for I am ready to forsake.
This part of me,
that now beats for we.

Memories fade of me at my worst,
as my pounding heart seems so fit to burst.
Babysteps together we make,
as out of our shells slowly we break.

Closer our hearts grow,
deeper out feelings begin to flow.
Hand in hand we step into the sunshine,
as I feel OUR HEARTS INTERTWINE!!!
