Once upon a time
I thought I had it all
Then my world came crashing down
and I began to fall.
I tried to end it all right then
There was nothing left for me
Your eyes, they told my story
of who I was to be.
You saw me then
So see me now
See me how I am today
Not in any special light
See me how I really am
Emerging from that life-long fight.
You saw me then
So see me now
Only this time,
See me happy.
